The Vice President, Marketing strategic platforms reports to the Senior Vice President of marketing Online Business.
The Vice President, Marketing strategic
platforms will develop and implement the Company?s B2B marketing plan including, but not limited to, a focus on direct marketing initiatives. This executive will use a well-honed direct marketing knowledge base and
a keen understanding of customer segmentation analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the Vice President, Marketing strategic platforms
will include the following: Drive online channel revenues through the acquisition and development of advertisers using referral and loyalty programs. Oversee all advertiser communications including
newsletters, web site messaging, print and customer service. Provide marketing support to the direct sales channel function. Manage corporate marketing issues such as trademarks with very limited corporate
branding, as well as coordinate and collaborate with the corporate communications department and the international team. Identify, target and acquire advertisers, as well as devise and implement programs to
enhance customer retention and development. Drive customer acquisition costs lower while meeting revenue objectives. Conduct related market and competitive research including identifying key data to be
derived from the company?s database or to be acquired from third parties. Create appropriately valued programs for the targeted advertiser segments, as well as develop new programs within the scope of the
company?s mission.
Prospective candidates will have at least five years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of five years in direct marketing. Experience with online marketing, advertising and
business marketing (B2B) would be ideal. This executive will have a proven track record of success in positions of increasing responsibility where they have created and built demand in a highly competitive
environment. Prospective candidates will have significant strategic marketing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to recognize and act upon opportunities in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will
possess an intuitive understanding, reinforced by a successful track record, of identifying, acquiring, retaining and developing customers. It is vital that this person have a deep understanding of direct response
and database marketing, as well as of advertising on the Internet and marketing through multiple channels. Successful experience in a rapidly growing, dynamic, resource constrained business is ideal.

high- energy professional who possesses exceptional analytical thinking skills. This executive will be a strategic thinker who can derive key insights from the data, as well as anticipate changes in the demands of

Prospective candidates will have an undergraduate degree from a respected university.
While a MBA or other graduate degrees are highly desirable, they are not a prerequisite for consideration.
